Nov. 5 - Homework

1. Read chapter 9 in Designing Interfaces

2. Get started on the research phase of project 2.

3. Put together a flowchart that diagrams the various sections of  your proposed Spanish language learning CD-ROM.

Flowhcharts are important tools that help designers map out all possible ways someone could browse through an interactive experience. See an example of a flowchart below.

4. Develop 4 wireframes for the 4 different sectional pages you will be creating for your Spanish language CD-ROM interface.

Wireframes are used to plan out the actual layout design [where to place and position the various elements (text, headers, images, etc.) on your page]. Typically wireframes are non-graphical. See the wireframe example below.

This flowchart/wireframe homework is worth 10% of your overall project 2 grade. Be sure you complete the flowchart and wireframes by Nov. 10, 9am. Print out a copy of both to hand in at the start of Monday's class.
